#castiel’s favorite place is by the water #which is why when they decide to take a break #go on vacation #dean always bring cas to the cabin by the lake #it’s not a big place #but it’s bobby’s and he loans it to them every summer #and it’s their place #their little safe haven #that small cabin by the lake #with the trail that runs by part of it #the trail with the overhanging trees that shade them from the summer sun #it’s castiel’s favorite part #walking down the trail with dean #holding hands even though at first dean protests but castiel talk him into it #sometimes they stop on the trail to admire the water #the blue green of it #the sun and trees reflecting off of the surface #and castiel thinks to himself #that this is what it means to be human #to admire life and the little things #the beauty of the world -castianity
